Reading this journal entry, it reminds me of my artist's statement, or lack thereof.



What is "Art"?

Art is monstrous, volatile, disgusting, violent, blatant, nightmarish and vile, while at the same time gorgeous, peaceful, tasteful, kind, subtle, dreamlike and wondrous.

Yet there are many in this world called the "Art Community" who wish to turn it into everything BUT what's mentioned above.

They want it robotic, repetitive, stagnant, boring, and tasteless.


Art is expression and us TRUE artists have a lot to say and our words will NOT be censored by the likes of the Corporate dipshits who wish to ruin what we artists stand for. We are artists first, money-makers second, or third.

ART COMES FIRST


Art is supposed to instil emotions like anger, sadness, happiness, depression, and shock. It's meant to be beautiful and yet, it's meant to be so horrible to the eyes that the weak are driven away, screaming in anger.

Art is meant to get people thinking.

Art is meant to SAY something.


Art is NOT meant to be censored and we artists are not meat on the slabs, or hanging from the butcher's hook.


We may draw meat hanging from the butcher's hook, but we artists are not to be made example of, no matter how much you THINK our work violates one code or another.

Art has NO MORAL CODE!!

Art is NOT MEANT TO BE MORAL!!




Everyone who agrees with me, SPEAK UP!! Reach out to all those "Unknowns" who are pummeled into the ground by the vice that is DeviantArt and the corporate Drones who THINK they run the show.


Artists, SPEAK UP!! THIS SITE WOULD NOT BE ALIVE IF IT WERENT FOR US!! TIME TO ACT LIKE IT!!
